I would use a Willinton kit for ease of connection as it doesn't need to connect to the Zig at all, and it has the wiring harness (if needed) to move all the other circuits over to the L/B (Blinds, internal lights, Radio, Cig. sockets etc). Also running the charging circuit up and down the length of the vehicle, unnecessarily is not a good idea, having the ability to charge either battery from the Zig charger is very handy, so I would still leave both batteries connected to the Zig, but just make sure you don't allow them to be paralleled, as Briwy explained.

Even more confused now!
Your saying leave the set up as is ( s/b & l/b ) attached to the ZIG but add the Wiilinton on as well, surely that won't work 100%?

As I said use the technique that Briwy uses;
Briwy wrote:I gave up using the Zig to charge the LB on the move and fitted a Willintin kit.
I have also rigged the Zig so that using another relay it now charges the starter battery as well as the leisure battery when on hook up.
Yes, our Numax is 100A.
That way you get the best of all worlds.
See the thread from Briwy here http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 09#p533809 for details on how he wired it.
