Inner trackrod joints have arrived in the post. Add that to my list of things to do before baby arrives.

On closer inspection, I don't actually think the inner track rods are the problem.
I've gone back round all other front-end nuts and bolts (which I should have done first, anyway
). The upper nyloc nut on the off-side drop link snugged up a bit so I'm assuming that the bolt would have been able to jiggle a little in its hole under road stress.

Edit: no more knock, anyhow. I have no doubt it was the loose droplink nut that was causing the noise.

A truly inspirational thread Matt. To go from first oil change to all of this in a year is amazing. I hope your Bongo returns to full health very soon.
