This was on the Gadget Show last week, they really rated it.
Said it's coming to the UK soon.

Don't you love the way that once our tax system has got at it $120 US becomes £150. ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

Hi
It's not the taxation alone, or it would be a mere percentage more....it's shipping charges, handling charges, charges for importing, charges for the shoe leather of the man who walks to get the parcel from the plane, charges for gloves for said man in cold weather, and cold drinks in hot weather, storage charges for sitting in a depot while some so-called manager decides whether a set of "signature" Sylvester Stallone thumb tacks (drawing pins) are, indeed, a threat to public safety, and don't forget the translation fee for translating from American to English (a hard task, indeed)
I have imported a fair bit from America to England over the years, and I always take Dollar Price to be Pounds Sterling when it arrives!
Regarding that gadget...well, it is what it is...a gadget, and whilst I like the idea, it is not for a serious camper...but more for the gadget enthusiast , and a talking point...The quoted output on said device is hardly enough to charge a 'phone, but maybe enough to light a very dim LED, and I suspect that it would be so low as to merely provide sufficient light to attract the odd randy glow-worm....however, as a talking point, I would say it's a must for the person who has everything and is searching the globe for trinkets that under-whelm
Cheers
Helen

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
