Changing Glowplugs...Ayrshire garage?

Post by soggy57 » Wed Oct 31, 2012 12:43 am

Hi Folks Been getting harder and harder to start the bongo and loads of smoke on start up so reckon its the glowplugs. Regular garage is happy to do full service[oil air and fuel filters etc] but didn't seem keen on changing the glowplugs.Any recommendations in Ayrshire/Dumfries and Galloway or even Glasgow? Ta Del

top tip time.
remove the old ones when the engine hasnt been run, engine cold, they are hard to remove when they snap off.

That's Dutch to me Ady. What exactly are you saying, remove the glow plugs when the engine is hot or cold. :-k
