Remote locking

Long time since I've messed around with central locking kits, but don't they normally come with metal connectors, a bit like the terminal blocks used for connecting wires together. This type of thing:

Fit one rod into one half and the 2nd one in the other and you can easily adjust the overall length.

When you say it's easy to adjust, Jaylee, are you doing that while the lock rod is in its normal position or do you push it down through the hole in the door frame and out through the large hole along the door handle rod to give you better access to it?

I was doing the latter and had a bu**er of a time adjusting the connector to allow for the right amount of travel.

While the Bongo lock pull thing is up exposing a short length to attach the connector to where it comes out of of a square hole in the window ledge... The straightened out coat hanger rod drops down vertically to the solenoid.... http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... mgno=.html
