I have a permenantly flashing glow plug light (constant), along with poor acceleration and starting problems. The diagnostic report gave the following error Codes:
P1.89 Fule pump speed sensor signal error
P1228 Waste gate failed open-under pressure
P0606 internal PCM parocessor error.
The mechanic says the last one is the most serious, but what do I do now!???
I haven't got a clue and any help greatly appreciated. I live near Southampton.
Cheers
Pam

Is it the later 'drive by wire' type or have you got a conventional accelerator cable running to the diesel injector pump?
What does your mechanic suggest the next steps are? How Bongo-savvy is he?

Hi,
Thanks for replying. Apparently its the new drive by wire type. The garage is Allans in Plymouth so he is very bongo savvy, and he said the engine control module would need to be fixed by a specialist company? I was rather hoping someone would be able to tell me where to take the bongo to in my area.
Allans did say to get back to him if I was struggling, but I think the guy is snowed under with work at the minute!!
