still having trouble with performance-2 litre

hi all, i posted back in jan with a few problems,loss of power, bad fuel consumption, well cut a long story....i have found a very good garage( mazz-tec in gosport ) he has all the bongo/mazda diagnostic system and they dont come up with any faults, poss that it could be the mass air flow unit...?? would there be such a thing as a senser on the auto box, i ask this because when you pull away and put your foot on the gas almost nothing happens, it seem like it is in the wrong gear...can anyone help me please.... :idea:

Remind us again which engine have you got: FE-E (2.0) or J5-DE (2.5)?

Ta - looks like someone has edited the subject line now. The solution is 2 more cylinders & an extra 500cc :). Never played withe the 2 litre engine but did find it rather 'flat' when I took one out for a spin.

it is a 2l petrol. it hasent always been slow of the start. dont really know what to do now..
