HOLD light - 1997 Bongo Friendee V6 2500 Petrol

Post by hooch » Sun Sep 09, 2012 2:47 pm

Hi All,

My first post :0( Not a happy one...

Arrived home with my Bongo yesterday after an uneventful 2 1/2 hour drive. Bought privately from Southampton. The van did'nt miss a beat all the way.

As I type this we are out visiting family - On the way an orange HOLD ligh came on on the dash. It is on constantly - not flashing.

Anyone have experience of this?

I bet you found the engine very responsive with the hold button in / light on ..!!

On my V6 when want some 'get away' performance I use the gears manually with the hold button in ..

That sounds like the ideal way for me to use the Bongo to relive a childhood dream of being in the A Team :D

All that gold you will need weighs alot so the extra weight will slow the van down even with hold engaged
