Drive by wire idle

Post by briwy » Sun Aug 26, 2012 1:55 pm

Does anyone know how to adjust the idle speed on a drive by wire diesel please?

I want to increase it by about 30-40 rpm to get rid of an annoying vibration that causes things (Fiamma awning mainly) to rattle.
Currently ticking over at 700rpm, just needs upping a trifle.

Hi briwy,

It might be worthwhile checking the throttle position sensor on the pedal bracket to make sure its tight(secure)

Cheers.

Thank rita, checked that it's solid. There doesn't appear to be any way to adjust it on the pedal and I'm a bit wary of fiddling with the pump without knowing what I'm doing as it's running well.

Hi briwy,
I agree, the only other simple thing to check is the TOP rubber stoppers on the bracket.

Cheers.
