TM2 Coolant alarm Instructions for wiring Copy needed

Post by New Forest Terrier » Tue Aug 07, 2012 3:02 pm

Has anyone a copy of the wiring instructions for a Haydn TM2 alarm they could email me a copy? I believe Haydn is still in Ireland and I need to get mine reinstalled ASAP.

The water loss problem on my Bongo has turned into one of those intermittent horrors that does not show up on test    I took it into Discount Trucks this morning and Fred pressure tested it. No sign of a leak under pressure, but it had lost some water on the journey up. Hoses and connections all watertight. He isolated the rear heater matrix as the possible source and there was no water loss on the way back. I need the alarm back and working to confirm this was the problem or as an early warning if not. No smoke, steam or any signs of internal water loss in the engine, so head gasket failure dismissed. Plus there was antifreeze leaking behind the drivers door.

As he had no instructions he could not do the alarm, so an auto leccy is having a go tomorrow. A copy of the original instruction would help and be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Instructions gratefully received. =D> =D> =D> Once the TM2 is fitted tomorrow I might get a better idea of what is going on. Hopefully Fred has nailed the water loss problem with the rear heater matrix isolation. But we will see. I am still hoping to make Nanticol, the weekend after next [-o< , but all needs to be well for that distance.

Much gratitude to all who helped yesterday evening. The coolant alarm is now fitted and working and all feels a lot less hazardous. No further obvious coolant loss, so the heater matrix might have been the only cause. Too soon to tell though as it was/is a very gradual leak.

Fingers crossed for the weekend.
