Replacing the AFT canvas

Post by Coradia63 » Sat Jul 21, 2012 7:49 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone replaced the canvass part on an AFT? the previous owner of mine decided to cut the fly net of completely as he didnt like it??? plus there is a small rip in one of the sides so I am thinking of trying to source a replacement from a breakers just wondering if the holes for the fixings are likely to line up any tips on fitting etc and anyone got an idea of how much I should expect to pay?

Cheers
Stuart

i know someone who breaks em. he has a couple of roofs complete, he may sell the canvas seperate.
but removing the screws that hold the canvas to it could be a pain as the nuts in the roof and floor can come loose or come out so refitting may be a bit of a time consuming faff.
pm me if you need.
