That's a wee bit more than I paid for my rear ladder five years ago. But then mine came complete with the ski and bike carrying attatchments.
Ady leave the shoulder rides for your missus to others. You just aint fit enough so you might do yourself some damage. What would we do without you.

Ady was refering to the telescopic ladder not the fixed Terzo Rear Lader. In the 5 years that I have had mine I have had no damage at all, touch wood.

See my post on this link about the different types of Terzo ladders available: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... t=+Ladders
I've used both types and had no issues with paintwork, especially if you use paintwork protection film like this stuff which is like a clear sticky back plastic which prevents any scratches where the brackets sit:

I've got two ladders which I'm hoping to get stripped and powder coated like the one on my van, but it's way down on the 'to do' list.

i had the older one which replaces the grab handle. it had damaged the grey panel so i removed it, what a mess under the top mounting even though it had some spongy stuff between the mounting and the paintwork.
maybe mine was owned by a little fat japanese family in a previous life.

We had a top box and thought the ladders were well over priced, you could probably get a welder to knock up one in aluminium much cheaper. We went the extending ladder option. gaffer taped some sponge around top, job was a gooden and the ladders have been used elsewhere (me being a short arse).

thanks for the help all, as you can see from my avatar I went down the rear ladder route. Terzo 118 they are great but cost me £100 ! saying that they are rare as rocking horse poo so maybe a good buy long run. Anyway they dont seem to be doing any damage thus far, problem is I am niow after the original bike rack mounts for them which seem even more rare ! I would also like to strip and powder coat them too but wouldnt know where to look to have that done.
thanks
