Rust on gutters

Post by rhenry » Thu Jun 28, 2012 11:34 am

Hi all

only had my BOngo a few weeks and am working my way round fixing and cleaning etc. I have noticed a small amount of rust starting along the floor of the gutter rail. Anybody have any advice on treating this and keeping it at bay in this location ?

thanks

I found this a while back, so I suggested peeps checked, no response so I assume no-one else has the problem, or were not motivated by the post....whatever.....maybe out of sight is out of mind?

I simply cleaned off the rust with a Dremel grinder, treated it with Kurust & then painted over it. Seems to have worked so far (a couple of years)
