Today, fitted some of those feebay covers to the lower track rod ball joint ....will check tomorrow to see if they have held up to today's driving. The original mazda ones are with built in wire necks. =D> ..the feebay ones just with cable ties

...................
To do: Lower suspension joint cover (need a larger wrench #-o )
Handbrake adjustment....yep I should done when I last had the wheels off #-o

....................
Special thanks to Mikexgough for all your PMs & helpful support =D> =D>

As for Bongo's needing joints and or wishbones..... they are not alone since the new MOT regs for 2012..... 90% of failures now are ball joint covers/ball joints/Track rod ends when before they used to advise....
Mine didn't fail the test but was given an advisory for the wishbone ball joint covers. Have bodged them up for now with self amalgamating tape. Its a shame because the tester said that there was no wear in the ball joints themselves.
Have you got a link to the manufacturers/ suppliers of the ball joint covers. Have done a search but come up with nothing.

Thanks

Did a search for OHNO & just came up with Japanese or USA sites. :|

My feebay covers used on Track Rod ends are fine and holding in place. =D> They were a bit fiddly/slipping off when fitting  but seem to hold well when in place/bolted. :)
I Haven't done the lower joint cover yet :!: :( ...need new wrench (26mm?) Does anyone have the size details of Lower joint nut, Rubber cover upper & lower holes :?:

Also noted today that one of the CV joint has a hole #-o #-o that was not picked up at the MOT...better do that too :!: #-o
