Hi,
As I frequently have to park on a narrow street I always switch the mirrors to fold in to avoid them being knocked & damaged. Has anyone wired thier mirrors to automatically fold in when the ignition is switched off & fold out when switched on? If so how have you achieved it? I suspect some sort of latching relay type of circuit would do it but my electrical knowlage is a bit limited.
Cheers Windy Watson.

Auto folding mirrors is one of the options with my SIGMA alarm system.

Re: FOLDING MIRRORS
come on guys...!
Though i still think a little bit of jiggery pokery with the Bongo system maybe required with this unit?? Apologies to you if you have experience with this item & its a straight install....
Yep mine close in when remote locking/alarming the van, then open out on the start up.
It took me a fair old while to crack it to be honest, & even that was by accident! Still working reliably well though since my last post on this subject.. http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... it=closure

Rita, i wish i'd seen this a couple of years ago...rita wrote:You could give these people a shout.
