Seal for the sliding door and rear door cables

Post by K&J » Mon May 14, 2012 5:30 pm

When Brrenda the Bongo recently had her MOT, the garage noticed that there was no seal on the top of the sliding door. Anyone know what the profile of the seal is (or was, in our case) so we can replace it? (she's a 1995 2.5l Diesel)

(yes, we had wondered what the draft was...)

We also need to replace the seal round the cables that go from the main body of the bongo to the rear door (top right hand corner of the door) - they're leaking. We might be able to get away with a repair on that though...

Thanks

Is it part 72-651Z? http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... no=.html#5

To be honest until i went out to have a look for you, i never noticed a strip along the top of the door till now.. Just the one around the frame, but your right there is one on the top of the slider... (Well, not on yours...)
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...
