Dashboard lights
Dumb question, i fancy changing my instrument/dash lights from green to blue. Is it just a case of changing bulbs?

Yes and no
. There are green filters that cover the white bulbs so you could probably remove these. The back of the speedo dial has a green filter that is screen printed onto the rear, so you will always get a greenish tinge to the markings.

Brilliant. Thank you Simon. I'll take a look and see what I can do.

As Simon says, they are green filtered... I would hazard a guess blue may not cut through...?!! There is a yellow tint at the bottom of the dial/clock needles/pointers, so you may find it reverts back to a different shade of green?? (Though, i forgot what colour the needles are meant to be on the clocks..) Yellow??
Red leds cut through without too much modding even on the switches...
You can just make out the needles on the dials here...

& centre is a red led behind a green filter on the spot light switch too.. Though, i did use a blue led behind the green filter on the cigarette lighter socket.
Hope this helps..
