Self closing sliding door.

Post by Purple Pixie » Wed Apr 25, 2012 2:27 pm

Hi everyone!

Picked up our Freda last week and I'm a bit confused about the sliding door...it currently has to be slammed shut, but I did think that there's supposed to be a self closing device. How do I identify if it is supposed to be self closing? It is a new shape, 1999 Freda.

Many thanks!

Just gently push it closed.....it should then finish off by closing tight on it's own.....you will hear the motors if it's working.

You need 5 pins for the door to be self closing

I'd view this as a bonus. Little to go wrong and it isn't taking battery power when oyu're on a campsite.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
