rear anti roll bar bush

hi i have owned my bongo for about a year and a half now and i have had to repair the passenger side aniti rollbar bush holder twice after the second repair i decided to replace both sides that was about six months ago and just the other day heard the familiar squeaking and yes its broken so out came the welder i was just wondering if there is a stronger version ??

Are you talking about the brackets with 2 bolts through? If so they are only about £8 each.Not worth welding.

Yes that's the ones I know they are cheap but surley they shouldn't keep breaking !

They are quite thin metal really and corrode quite badly. Check the anti roll bar isnt under stress. When you remove the bracket bolts with the wheels off the deck they shouldnt move and the bolts should go straight back in. If the roll bar moves or jumps when you loosen the brackets, that would suggest that something is bent or damaged.

Hi,

Do they have blacksmiths/ metal workers on the isle of Wight ,if so they could very easily rattle you up a couple of heavy duty brackets/clamps.
