NE Sensor

Post by Rhinoman » Fri Apr 13, 2012 11:56 am

I'm currently playing with Helen's HUD unit and trying to understand how to interface the Bongo sensors to the Swoosh unit. Does anyone have a picture of the trigger 'wheel' for the NE Sensor, it doesn't look like it is triggered from the crank, maybe from another pulley on the timing belt. I have a scope capture of the signal but I don't have a lot of confidence in the stock rev counter so I'm not sure exactly how many pulses per rev. I can expect. The scope capture below was taken at idle, a shade above the second mark (700rpm ish?????):

Hi
It will probably use the FIP gear.

Cheers.

I think it comes off the injector pump shaft:

OK so we need a picture of the fuel injector pump gear, at least we know what we're looking for.
