Willinton kit where?

Post by twidds » Tue Apr 10, 2012 4:04 pm

Can now afford one but can't find one!
The ones that have been available are now gone. Why was one £68 and The other £105.
Does anyone know where I can get one now.
Thanks ](*,)

Email him via EBAY, he puts the kits together depending on what you want / need http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/willinton/?_t ... 4340.l2559 see the Contact Member link on the lefthand side.

He currently has one of each for sale one with a battery tray and the cheaper one without just the electrics.

Probably with or without battery tray.

Not according to his listing - Latest Version of the split charging kit will now fit all Bongos with automatic transmission (including the V6 automatic)

Yes he adapted the housing for the relay and fusebox so it would fit in place

They became available five years ago just after I got my Bongo. The rubbish with which my converter originaly wired up my Bongo was useless, fuses kept blowing every other day. Limped home from a holiday in the Western Islands via half a dozen breakdown call outs and it took a while before I understood what was going on.

Dandywarhol liked the converters work as a plastic lunch box full of fused and advised me to throw it a way and buy one of the newly available Willinton kits which he had been testing. Todays Bongo owners are lucky, they have a reliable conversion kit from the word go.
