Change the switch for one with a indicator light built in.

The answer is No,If you vehicle has not been fitted with a tell tale light.

The light is an optional extra.

I'm not sure either Haydn, but every car I've had had a warning light for the front fogs as well.
I wonder if the new MOT regs will find out, as all warnings lights are included.

Hi,

Front fog lamps or any additional or optional lamps are not included in the MOT test.

The Rear fog lamp/s are part of the MOT test.

Cheers.

there's plenty round my way (a built up area with good street lighting) who must wish it was illegal not to have them on all the time!
