19 Hours of polishing gets a 16 year old car looking like...

Post by Lotustuart » Tue Feb 28, 2012 7:22 pm

Below are the before and after pictures of my new Bongo. The paint was horrendous when I picked it up. Really cloudy and it felt like sand paper to touch. After a little bit (well actually ALOT) of TLC I`m really pleased with the result!

Pretty impressive: would you like to share the secret ingredients (apart from lots of elbow grease, that is!).

its mostly Meguiars...
Megs NXT Wash
Megs Clay kit
Megs Ultimate compound
Megs Final poilsh compound
Megs Prewax sealant
and Concours 50/50 Wax

All compounds and sealant applied with a PorterCable Random orbital Polisher, the rest by hand.

Pricey, but worth every penny. :D
