Guys, I have a knocking/tapping from the lower front drivers side coil spring, it appears the lower rubber "seat" that the spring sits in has perished, so the spring keeps knocking the metal mount that houses it. You can see where it has metal on metal contact. The drop links have been replaced. Has anyone changed these, or does anyone know how to? I assume its a job with a coil spring compressor? Any ideas on where to get the rubbers or a compatible match?
Thanks!
Mark.

Mazda or a good Motor Factor should be able to supply the rubbers. The part number is common to the Mazda 626 and the MX6.brookie wrote:Cheers! I'll try mazda for a laugh! Many thanks guys, I'll pay my local motor factors a visit on Monday, they're always good at getting a sensible priced part.

Job done! After some jiggery-pokery with an old rubber car mat and a crowbar, I managed to get some rubber under the lower spring to silence it and its worked! Mind you, I don't know how long for...
Cheers for your help and suggestions guys.
