Digital heater controls
Got these in my Bongo, any one got any instructions?
Re: Digital heater controls
There in the small Users manual for the bongo, but the controls are pretty standard, Auto mode is just that, OFF is just that the Fan speed, Mode and Eco do what you expect - Eco seems to use the Fans to control temperature rather than use the Air. Con itself to cool the air down whenever possible. Temperature setting Minimum is 18°C at which point the fans are full blast, the Temperature indication is the target temperature rather than the actual temperature, 32°c is the Max and again puts the Fans on Max etc. The Rear control - a quick press turns on the rear panel - a longer press allows the Mode to be controlled from the front, however you can't set the temperature from the front which is frustrating at times.
The Digital Controller also takes into account the Sunshine level, you have a Sun sensor down in the offside corner of the Dashboard, when lit (if not covered by parking tickets or window stickers) warns the system to allow for sunshine heating of people and the internals even if the air temperature itself is lower.
