Roofrack what will fit

Post by winchman » Tue Jan 31, 2012 1:11 am

Going to view a Bongo tomorrow, but its not a pop top so I wondered what roof rack or roof bars will fit it?

Got my roof bars from Halfords....just make sure the "feet" clear the roof. about £75 for the 2 pairs of feet and 2 x bars

Yeah! I got mine secondhand.
Believe it or not the guy I sat next to for 10 years had them sitting in his garage... they too came from a volvo...? spooky....

They do appear on ebay and such places .....

One thing to mention.... they do make a noise at speed and drag ya fuel consumption down, so only plan to have them on when you want them only......

good luck

I'm using "Paddy Hopkirk" feet with standard 1" square bars, they where sold as for a Transit "mid roof" if I remember right

I thought I might go down that route with our "skylift" roof. It doesn't have the AFT fittings ....
