Slow window

Sounds like a case of 'grease me please'
There are some runners in the door that guide the window, below them is a 'contraption' for want of betters words, that pushed the beast up and pulls it down, this being fed from the motor.
Being a window, water can ingress (ooh, posh) sorry, get in to the works.
This assumes the door has not been damaged (buckled or dented) in a manner that would imping (ooh posh) sorry, get in the way, of the window sliding up or down.
Seriously, I had a similar fault with a Rover, the problem was one of 'lack of lubrication'.
Sadly, the inner door panel never seemed to quite fit properly after my foray into it's innards.
Serves me right, should have left it to the professionals.
Don't delay though, a burned out motor can be expensive, and even worse, driving around with the window down in this cold weather......

JGK, just had a similiar problem on my Bongo, I cured it by lowering the window and spraying silicone spray into the upright guides in the window frame, window up/down, repeated spray. Sorted, might be worth a try before you do open door surgery. :D Shakey
