Does my bum look big in this?

Post by terrybull » Fri Jan 06, 2012 9:28 pm

Although on the larger size I do have a small unpadded derriere, and since xmas I've noticed I can feel the seatbelt bracket on one side and the adjuster bracket on the other. I hate cushions so has anyone ever padded out the seat?

Sounds like your derriere isn't as small as you think
Sorry, no idea about padding as I fitted aftermarket seats to mine.

Hi Franco, where do you find after market seats? I can feel a bar in the left side drivers seat and was thinking of trying to pad it out but not looked at it yet...

I got them, off Ebay, from a place in Great Yarmouth (can't remember their name  ). I believe they were just generic seats, rather than model specific. Fortunately "scanner" also bought some and had some adaptor plates made up for both of us. The only problem was that they raised the seats quite a bit so, if you are over 6 feet tall, you can't see out of the top of the windscreen
Here's a photo of the passenger one which was reversed, except at MOT time 8)
