Foot Rests

Post by johnb8840 » Tue Oct 31, 2006 8:18 pm

Hi Karen,

I'm afraid I must protest at you using your picnic seats as footrests, why put your flithy feet all over them when somebody has to sit on them?.
good luck in scourcing your four picnic -seat bolts.

Hideously uncomfortable for sitting upon, unless one is a little pixie perhaps.

I have to agree Pippin they are not the most comfortable seats i've ever sat on, but we did use ours a few times on rainy South Downs days before I converted our van. Better than nothing I guess.

G'day to all you folk who are bigger than pixies check out this site
http://www.putnams.co.uk/sitting

Anyway on this site they have a thing called a Country Seat which converts the pixie seat into something more comfortable. I've got one, it does the job, particularly if your Bongo is a camper conversion and you sit around a lot.
