Post by bongodonkey » Fri Dec 09, 2011 6:37 pm

Hi everyone, I've found these tyres online at £71 ea and fully fitted.

NANKANG 205/65R15 99H SV2 WINTER XL

Are these fine for all four corners?

Cheers teenmal mate! =D> =D> =D>

I followed your link and got the same Nankangs for £263 inc fitting and vat and etc etc. :D  :D

I will have them fitted next week some time.

Going up to Scotland over the festive season and with a 2 tonne auto rear wheel drive on gunky roads I really didn't want to risk it!

Will keep all posted on the ride and handling etc over the festive period.

Ride on dudes!!!

Got the new tyres fitted this morning; and not soon enough!

Hereford has had it's obligatory 0.5 in of snow (which subsequently melted), leaving some frozen roads. Driving out of our housing estate on my 18in summer wheels, I had a couple of moments of having to hope the bongo would stop. The ABS system kicked in and I did stop in time.

Typically once the nangkangs were fitted the blimmin' black ice disappeared! Hopefully I won't have to wait until the next annual 0.5 in to fall to justify the 'discussions' that I've had with my better half on getting these tyres!

Peace out and Happy Christmas to all.
