Finally got the bongo into the vets, after being away with work for a while.

Turns out that the 'rattling whistle' wasn't engine related   Which was a massive relief.

It took the garage 2 hours to locate it (which they didn't charge labour for either :D :D ). The rear exhaust section had perished and was the source of the noise. So, nice new rear box and the V6 burbles even nicer!

Also when Dave took 'im for a test drive he noticed that the engine was running flat. So on further inspection it was found that the HT leads were pooped. Only 2 of the 6 were working probably. So a dizzy clean up and 6 new genuine mazda leads later me bongo is running like a dream. Dave also tweaked the LPG software too.

So all in all a far better end to a potential 'horror story' of what could of cost lots.

You live and learn...........prior to taking the bongo to the vets, we had been driving the bongo very very very gently.......definitely not the way to drive a v6 [-X [-X

So back to 'pedal to the metal'.........

A big thank you goes out to Dave at Worcester Mobile Mechanics =D> =D> for making t'bongo better.
