Rust

I got a rust spot in the centre of my roof which looks pretty bad, I can only reach it off tall steps so going to be tricky to sort.
Anyone got one of those magic bongo tricks for dealing with this ???

Am i right in thinking a bit of wet & dry to get rid of any loose stuff then treat it with something b4 priming and painting or am I over complicating things ????

Well as you haven't had any help yet lets try to kickstart it.

Available in the Fury shop are Bongo plasters (not suitable for Ford Freda's). They come in different sizes and all standard colours.
Basically they are positive charged sacrificial anodes that after you remove the loose rust convert what's left to solid metal, the top coat of the "plaster" is thin film epoxy that then bonds itself to the repair that is warranted for the life of the Bongo.

I hope Ian doesn't edit this blatant promotion of exclusive Bongo products that are on special offer and come with guaranteed over night delivery on the 25th of Dec..................................

Bogmonster40, i take it the vehicle concerned is a "tintop"...?

If like my tintop you have a sunroof, hows about opening it & getting at the spot from the centre from the inside???
