wintering my bongo

Post by sandralav » Sun Nov 27, 2011 10:27 pm

Hi
If I store my bongo over the winter should I take the leisure battery out and keep it charged somehow? Also does anyone know where I can find a cover for the van if I have to keep it outside all winter in all weathers? thanks

i would leave it all intact and just run the bongo round the block every couple of weeks, or if you have a drive just run it for a while and move the weight around on the tyres etc.
give ian a call at bongo hq, think he had some or knew of some covers, or
pm a member called scott on here, i think he had some made or they used his motor to develope a good made to measure cover.

Hi
As Ady says...PLUS don't forget to run the air conditioning every couple of weeks for a while, as the seals need lubricating, or you'll lose gas
Cheers
