does the collective brain...
...know what is controlled by the plunger switch that is operated by the throttle arm on the fuel pump? it is threaded into the bracket at the front and has a single wire feed which comes off the tps portion of the loom.
Re: does the collective brain...
Can you identify it on the Lush diagram, I might then be able translate to the wiring diagrams ?

if on very cold start, or normal cold start the plunger is allowed to pop out. when warmed up the plunger is pushed in so maybe sends a signal to the ecu to activate the egr. see what it does when disconected.

Yup here it is its inside the block on the lower left using connector B2-12;

Connects to the PCM on pin 3P, Brown wire in the E(ngine) loom.

it was only idle curiosity on my part as to the purpose of this switch. if ,as seems , it may be warm up related , i'll leave well alone as the old girl starts & smoothly at all times (egr blanked anyway).Northern Bongolow wrote:if on very cold start, or normal cold start the plunger is allowed to pop out. when warmed up the plunger is pushed in so maybe sends a signal to the ecu to activate the egr. see what it does when disconected.
