Is this meet still going ahead? It's gone a bit quiet and I need something to look forward to ....

Are we going to book individually for this one?

Re: New Year meet near Bath
Looks like it's going to have to be that way. They have offered me a discount if 10 people book for a rally but as its very difficult to collect money and have commitment from everyone at this time of year then we are going to book as individuals as soon as I remember to during the working day.
We just want to get away for a few days after the Xmas period, even if it is only a few miles and we could even catch a bus there.
So everyone, come along and join us for some new year fun no matter what the weather brings. It will be interesting to catch a bus into our home city of Bath and pretend we are tourists!

Hi - waiting for Chris & Gem and Paul & Susie to say they've booked before I'll book. I don't want to be the only one there! And at £20 a night for me and dog - well! But provided the meet is on, I'll book. Come on guys, who's in?

How did that happen? Can the mod delete one of those postings? Or both, if you're feeling mean!

We have just called and hit the answering phone. Would book over the net but want them to call back so we can mention that others will be coming and mentioning the name "Sheppard" when booking so that we can all be put next to each other.Chris&Gem wrote:Just testing the water, we've phoned the site, and they will do a group discount if we book 15 or over. For a rally 14 pounds a night. Site details at http://www.newtonmillpark.co.uk/
Were thinking from the 30th to the 2nd
Will be booking the nights of 30th, 31st and 1st.
See you then...

From Wells take the A39/A368, from Globe roundabout continue towards Bath, left at traffic lights (over river), site on right just before park and ride.
