Air Con/Heater switch Back lighting

Post by Mikethered » Wed Nov 02, 2011 11:01 am

Having bought our V6 2001 reg bongo in August and loving it, as the evenings are now closing in I have noticed that only half the switches on the Dashboard Air Con Control panel are back lit.

The "TEMP" up and down one and "AUTO" and "OFF" ones are lit but everything else isn't, which makes it quite hard to use after dark.

Does anyone know if this is this normal or has a fuse/light gone somewhere?

cheers

Mike

Thanks for that, not being massively technically minded my interpretation of the diagram is that there should be 3 bulbs, two on the right and one on the left and it seems the one on the left must have blown.

Do you agree?

Hi Mike,

Sounds similar to how ours was except that we had some of the other symbols illuminated as well which makes me suspect that two out of your three bulbs have blown.

There is a fact sheet in the members section on how to change the bulbs. If you have a Maplin Electronics store in your area then their stock code PG79L will do the trick.
