Re: Inflatable baby/toddlers bed
Lots of people have used these http://www.worldsapart.co.uk/ready-bed/my-first.html and the follow on sizes (my son skipped the First Ready bed but has had the next size (the Junior Ready Bed) since he was 2 and loves it - he's now almost 6 and often sleeps in it at home too "for a change"). His folds in three so that it can convert to a chair, which means it fits nicely in the front of the roof when we are camping (ie when the roof is up) and keeps everything tidy
There are plenty of factory store type sellers on EBay with them at more reasonable prices than, say, Argos.

Re: Inflatable baby/toddlers bed
Thanks Alison
The Ready Bed looks a good bet for when our little one get's a bit older he's 7 months old now.
I might give the one on Amazon a go for the spring-time, possibly in conjunction with a front seat bed set up from bongobeds which looks good. I'll let you know how we get on.
Cheers

Hi,
We used one but found that the little one outgrew it very quickly. The first time she used it she was 8 months old and by 2 it wasn't much use. Prefer the ones that Alison has posted a link to as it has more growing room

I love cheese!

Another vote for the ready bed. Fits perfectly on a cab bed we got from VW beds. Great combo

Thanks y'all for the info.
Will go for the Ready Bed option when the bairn gets bigger.
Umbongocat - any item that is useful from 8 months - 2 years sounds good to me.
At the moment BlewburyHillbilly Jr seems to grow out of everything (clothes etc) after a couple of weeks.
Must stop feeding him so much!
Cheers

Re: Inflatable baby/toddlers bed
Off the top of my head, the Junior Ready Bed which Isaac has is 155cm long. I actually measured it a couple of months ago when we had the "cat flap" alteration to the roof.
Don't know how long Isaac is now, but I reckon he must be about 115cm. There's still plenty of room as the cover which goes over it is not a tight fit and doesn't taper round the foot area.
Rather impressively, Worlds Apart, who make the things, do replacement insides (ie the mattress) for a fiver plus P&P (or if you live near them, as I do, you can collect ) Isaac's only developed a leak after some very dramatic abuse - I doubt there'd ever be a problem under normal circumstances

Re: Inflatable baby/toddlers bed
need something to accomodate 2 smallish boys in the house for a couple of nights a month, -cant afford to be buying 2 beds plus matresses and they love dens so thought i would get them an indoor tent each and set it up like a camping adventure style room give them torches etc- problem is the airbeds are longer than the tents so back too the drawing board bigger tents maybe.

If they can bear to share a tent, Mountain Warehouse rather snazzy two-man tent on sale for £14.99 (and a less snazzy purple one on sale for £9.99) http://www.mountainwarehouse.com/campin ... 5660.aspx#
