Sliding door and windows!

Post by marigold » Sun Oct 09, 2011 6:52 pm

First of all, PLEASE reply in layman's terms! We had a bit of trouble recently with the leisure battery draining the main battery and now neither the sliding door will open or the electric windows. Apparently the leisure battery is OK and charged. Any suggestions? The kids are fed up with climbing over the front seats and we have a major re-enactment this coming weekend!

Welcome to the forum!

The cure in laymans term is very simple - half way down the sliding door, on the inside, it needs a jolly GOOD thump, and we do mean a very solid thump! That is often sufficient to cause the mechanism to reset! Otherwise its a case of taking off the inside cover which is a bit of a fiddle, but plenty of descriptions on here and a fact sheet in the Club members area if you have joined the club itself (not just the forum - see link at top of page!)
