Ours started making a funny rattle at one stage - and finally tracked it down to the Leisure battery! one the clips holding it had come slightly adrift and the battery was jiggling about - centering the battery back on the tray and tightening up the clips sorted it

Hi again. Sorted. It was the front propshaft that was rattling. My mechanic took it off and I drove the Bongo for three days without it. No problem. He had the shaft refurbed and refitted it. To say he had the van in twice to find the problem and then to remove and fit the shaft I think his charge of £100 was brilliant. So anyone in the Sheffield area needing a Bongo mechanic, I can highly recommend him. Funny thing is, when listening to the noise, it certainly seemed to be from a rear wheel.
