door mirrors

Post by Bulwell Bongoleers » Sun Sep 18, 2011 10:04 pm

Hi

Just a quick question are the door mirrors the complete unit the same on all bongos?
eg Are 1995 ones the same as on a facelift model 1999?

according to the bongomeister ian, i have a very early 95 model with a low chassis number, and that is fitted with non lecky fold mirrors, though the outer shape is the same as chells 96 with lecky fold.
dont know about the later facelift models though sorry.

Nice to see them being referred to as door mirrors for a change, instead of wing mirrors!

Some of us can remember the old chrome Desmo type appendages, often optional.

Yes indeed. The cone shaped "racing" mirrors that added 10mph to the top speed of an 850 Mini.
