Engine cut off thingy has stopped working?

Post by paulo9992006 » Wed Oct 25, 2006 4:56 pm

Firstly sorry if anyone has emailed me and I have'nt replied but I have been away and my membership expired so I have re registered.Anyway as you can tell by my heading I am pretty clueless when it comes to engines. My vehicle used to run for about 40 seconds when I turned the ignition off which i understand it is supposed to do to protect the turbo. The engine has started to go off immediately when I turn the ignition off however. Is this right, have I switched it off accidentally or is it not working?Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I do not have an owners manual to check. If anyone knows where I could also get an owners manual that would also be appreciated. I thought i had better not drive it until I am sure so I am currently bongoless!!Thanks allot, Paulo
