Fault 1228 and 0400
Hi Got 2 fault codes on a 1999 Diesel which we cannot cure despite several attempts 1228 and 0400 . Much has been written about these , anyone got any definitive answers , the question is why did they reinvent the wheel (((o;

Have you spoken with any other of the Bongo guru garages (321Away, Ian Taylor, Wheelquick, Adrian @ Japan Direct, LPG , Hillside, Outback Autos etc. etc.) to see if they've had any similar experiences? If gearbox stuff, we have an excellent Bongo owning autobox specialist on here (signs in as Alacrity) - maybe he could help?
I sometimes think we could really do with a forum where professionals could discuss problems and help each other.
