Re: Latest work
Cheers, was going to be matt black but decided to colourcode it. I didnt like the orange reflector before but i like it now with the black.

Re: Latest work
I quite like my orange strip too.. Personally, i was toying with coding all on the grey panel bar the number plate recess & surround.. My main concern is my passenger wheel arch at the moment!
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

Re: Latest work
Hi back from hols, they are the sprinter arches, had to add a little piece in the middle but they are a good shape.

Working on van again yesterday, fitting longer seat rails in rear which i modified from Kia Sedona ones bought for £20. Drilled extra holes to give more seating positions but still need a couple more to be happy as they do not come close enough to the front seats. They do allow me to make up 2 front seats as beds and no gap when rear bed is made up. Took a while but worth it.

Momo Corse wheel fitted today with the help of mate at work, used a boss that didnt fit and part of the original steering wheel, feels great and enough clearance between stalks etc.
Also 2x12" subs and amp fitted and new head unit to replace previous one. DvD started playing fast and halfords didnt have one the same so upgraded me to this one free of charge. They were excellent which doesnt often get said about halfords. Thanks to them for that. Also added a centre armrest courtesy of a Nissan Quasquai or however you speel it.

Re: Latest work
Retrimmed the tailgate trim today, it was well overdue as there was a couple of splits in the vinyl. Not bad for £5.50 for the material.

Re: Latest work
haha now it just gets spookier, I did my tailgate in grey accoustic cloth last month as it had been chewed up by the dog !!
Re: Latest work
I have been considering the rear tailgate re-trim for a while, is it much hassle to remove?
.......... cycling more.
Re: Latest work
Mine took 30 mins from start to finish, it is just held on by 4 removable plastic pins and then about 10 pop fasteners, peeled off the original vinyl and glues accoustic carpet in place with carpet spray adhesive then poppe dback into place on the tailgate.
Re: Latest work
cheers tonnee
Guaranteed I will somehow end up pulling the whole tailgate off it's hinges or something equally daft when I give it a go

Re: Latest work
I had a long thin pry bar behind the panel to pop the fasteners as they are secured quite well but managed to unpop them all without breaking any
Dont forget to remove the rear door handle, just one screw.
I also left the 4 push in plastic pins off when I refittited it so I have a nice clean finish
