Re: Air con temperature
When its set to 18, it actually goes as cold as it can ours is well below 18c, likewise when you set it to the Max temp it goes as Hot as it can!

Re: Air con temperature
Thanks for the reply, as the 18 is just about acceptable, I think it's time for a gas change.
18 is mild to me, in fact balmy compared to when the mother-in-law is on board

Re: Air con temperature
This is the temperature the system will try to achieve based on the sensor inside the cab. The air supplied into the vehicle is cooled accordingly and will be much less than this but might not actually get the interior down to the level set, particularly in hot weather. As stated, it is difficult to see why you would want to have a lower temperature. Perhaps you should take off your car coat and driving gloves?Chris Taylor wrote:We have the later climate control gadget.
It only seems to be able to be set to go down to 18 degrees on the dial.
Is this correct?
I'd like to set it lower but it won't go.

Naturally a more capable aircon system could provide any given temperature but hey, these are older vehicles built to a price! The interior volume is pretty large and a bigger aircon pump would take more power from the engine.
