Lever next to air scoop?

Post by Wilko70 » Fri Jun 17, 2011 8:15 pm

Hi just noticed under bonnet next to air scoop (big black plastic bit ) that you take off to get to rad cap that there is a lever that can be moved between 2 positions, anyone know what this doesand should you move it t all, maybe a summer and winter setting or something?

Ok, not a bad guess then. Do you know which is which and when if you should switch over?

Cheers

Use with the lever forward during normal climate (summer) & with the lever pushed back in the winter. Not sure it gets cold enough for long enough to make that big a difference though in the UK...unless we get more -20*C for a few weeks around the new year!

Yours is probably the digital climate control? it's controlled by the recirc button (top left) on an actuator (just had to go out & confirm on mine  )
