Wing mirror glass removal
Hi all,
Dose anyone know how to remove the glass from a folding wing mirror.
Had a look around it but unless im being blind I can't see how to get in to it.
Any tips would be greatfully recived

Here is what you find under the glass to give a clue...

It just snaps on! with four sturdy clips.. & a fifth on the inner edge? That may break on the old glass if pulled off, but don't matter if it's replaced..! Lift from the outer edge with some force & it will pop free..

I used a large sucker (no not jaylee
, but the type sold by camping shops as a stick on base for awning poles to affix to caravans or whatever). I stuck it on the mirror and plucked it off without problems. I worried about using the levering method in case I broke the glass in the attempt.

I got "'er indoors" to clamp her lips onto it ..then let a mouse free......worked a treat.

Hi folks
does anyone know wher i can get a replacement wing mirror glass for the passenger side as some knob head has smashed mine while it was parked up.
