Front wishbone

About 4 weeks ago i was reversing out of our works carpark and there was a big bang from under my van and it would not steer straight.
Got out to have a look and the front driver side wishbone had snapped right off.
The van is now not drivable. To get it to the garage i will have to weld a temp strap on it (i am a welder).
I just wondered if doing this i might as well change it ? Reason i ask is i have a very bad back at the moment hence leaving it so long, and wondered if it involved much back wrecking moves.
I have a FLT on site so lifting it is no probs.
Ps i have ordered both sides to be on the safe side.

Probably as well changing the arm,only a couple of nuts and bolts..

Thanks, i will have a go then.
I dont have a problem with doing it as i am a maintenance engineer/welder, its just that my back is in a bad way at the moment, and i cant do anything that is going to put me off work.
