flat tyre and jacking point
has anyone got a photo of the rear jacking point as i cant make head na tail of the black and white diagram.I have a flat and need to lift asap and i think i must be a bit thick as it looks like you lift the whole rear from the middle .Guess that isnt right but cant see where the point really is.Cheers

Hi Hotcross, if you have a trolley jack then you can jack up the whole of the rear from underneath the diff . If your using the jack that came with the car ,then the jacking point is where the rear suspension tube meets the body. its a bit difficult to describe but follow the the lower tube that comes from the axle and attaches about 18 inches forward on a triangular structure.
Hope that helped i`ll try to find some pics

That's basically what you do - jack up on the diff.
But, if it was me, I'd be just jacking up one end of the axle if I'm using the wee scissor jack. Somewhere around the bottom of the spring is fine.

ok,i will give it a go from the description ,Thank you.It is the jack that came with it.But i only got the long bar and not the ratchet bit so i will need to improvise

Molegrips?
Re: flat tyre and jacking point
I think you could probably use a suitable sized spanner on the end of the long bar if my memory serves me right.

Re: flat tyre and jacking point
Thanks all.I have finally managed to change the wheel this morning with the use of a trolley jack in a big kit from argos on sale.came with two axle stands ,one of those trolley things to crawl underneath and other bits for £49.99.Have now managed to get one of the ratchet handles from the dealership so i am all set to go.Thanks again
