Help!! Going away Sunday & cig lighter not working..

Cigarette lighter not working back and front and we need them for our new fridge, new to all this, so really don't no whether we can sort ourselves or do we need an auto electrician?? Please help!!!??? :( :(

have you checked the fuses ?

Top row..... fuse 8 the last one on the right 15 amp...check that one...

Hubby looking right now!! He'snot sure where the fuse box is though?? God we are stupid??!! #-o #-o

They normally only work with the ignition on ?? not much use for a fridge ??

Did that!! definitely not working..More of a coolbox to keep the wine chilled whilst on the move!! :lol: :lol:

Not something as simple as the fuse in the coolbox try something else in the cig lighters to make sure its really them. Then as check fuses Mike says 8 so go with that unless someone has played or you have a conversion. If it is the coolboc fuse its in the part you push into the cig lighter.

Fuse No8 usually controls Cig lighter/ Mirrors and Radio are they working?

Yes they are definitely working, but speaking to the guy where we bought 'bongo' he thinks that someone has used the cig lighter to run electric for something else and may need to take dash off...think we will send her to him!!! #-o

I had this when I got my bongo ,the cigar lighter had been disconnected (don't know why )
Plug was dangling under the steering wheel could this be the problem or was it working previously ,have a look under the steering wheel for any loose plugs ,pretty easy to trace to lighter

That wouldn't stop the rear socket from working
