Thanks to Di for another great weekend by the side of Windermere. Sadly we were a little unlucky with the weather this time but that didn’t stop any of the fun in the water. Hannah spent most of Saturday in the lake and only reluctantly emerged for food. The boat race was a brilliant idea and side-splittingly funny to watch. Some pics from us....
Getting in some free practice for the big boat race
Hmmm, getting in isn’t exactly straightforward
“The dingy must be a 1 man one, the cheapest and smallest they make.” No danger of failing scrutineering then
This isn’t easy
Muzette’s doesn’t look much better
“Abandon ship, abandon ship!!”
Aha, getting the hang of this now

“You WILL learn to swim!!”
Double trouble – a pair of Hannahs
And they’re off!!
Time to try to tip people out of boats....
.....not necessarily successfully
Muz Jr taking an early bath
Daily Star headline – “Naked man rows across Windermere” shock horror
Bongo encampment
Barbecue? – I think I’ll go out in the boat again
Barbie challenge - burgers with a generous dose of Dave’s Insanity Sauce
Was it hot? – Is Bin Laden’s turban wet?
Di demonstrating her new swivelling wrist attachment

Big big thanks to Diane for this weekend. Was wonderful, relaxed and fun. Thanks and apreciation to anyone who helped to set up the marquee and who brought the boats for the fun. The best bit was the babies awhhh. It was great to be back bongoing. We have been asleep since we got back but I will now put up some pics from us and some from a budding photographer, young Cian (Team Jetskier).

The weather was the best part of this weekend. No one got burnt and the thunderstorms were the best, beautiful colours! I have to say I am an aquarian lol
